Learn Circus Arts in our very own European big-top circus tent!
Summerfield Waldorf School & Farm is one of the few Waldorf schools in North America with a full circus arts program. This fun and fantastic program is directed by Sieglinde and Don Basmajian, long time circus arts instructors here at Summerfield, along with Circus Program Instructor, Rose MacDonald, a Summerfield Waldorf alumna and certified/trained circus arts instructor.

​Summerfield students G3-12 participate in circus arts classes as part of the physical education program during part of the school year. Students learn circus skills including juggling, clowning, tumbling, trapeze, aerial, and more! They also prepare for and perform all the skills they learn in a Circus Show in the Spring.

We also have an advanced performance group, Cabaret, who put together their own Spring show along with professional circus arts guest performers.​

Run away and join the circus this summer! Dust off your juggling balls and get ready for three weeks of acrobatic fun, led by experienced circus arts instructor, Rose MacDonald and a talented team of circus instructors.
