Summerfield Waldorf School & Farm

Admissions

A note from our Admissions Director

We are delighted to welcome you to Summerfield Waldorf School & Farm, where education comes alive through experience, creativity, and community. We invite you to discover the beauty and intentionality that make Summerfield such a special place for children to grow, explore, and thrive.

At Summerfield, we believe in nurturing the whole child — hands, heart, and head — through a rich curriculum that spans from birth to 18. From the earliest years in our parent-child program to the transformative experiences of high school, every stage of learning is designed to honor the unique journey of each student.

With warm regards,
Annalyse Jorgensen
Admissions Director

The Process

Three steps from first inquiry to enrollment

Each family's journey looks a little different. Here's the path we'll walk together — start anywhere along it.

  1. Inquire

Submit a short Inquiry Form to start the conversation. We'll create your Admissions Account and email login credentials for the Admissions Portal.

  2. Visit & Interview

Register for a tour by program — Early Childhood, Lower School, or High School. You'll see classrooms, stroll the campus and Biodynamic® farm, and meet our Admissions Director.

    • ECE: one-on-one interview with the teacher
    • Lower School: visiting days + family interview
    • High School: shadow day + family interview
    Schedule a visit →
  3. Apply & Enroll

From the Admissions Portal you can pay for applications, work through the Admissions Checklist, submit documents, track your status, and schedule a follow-up tour.

Referral Program

Refer a family, earn a $500 tuition credit

Families who successfully refer a new student receive a $500 tuition credit as a thank-you for growing our community. Prospective families can name the referring family on their application; current families can let our Finance Department know after enrollment.

  • Credit issued once the new student completes 20 instructional days
  • No limit — refer more, earn more
  • Referring families recognized in the school newsletter

For Grades 9–12

Distinction Scholarships

Summerfield Waldorf High School's Distinction Scholarship recognizes new students entering grades 9-12 who show real strength in social leadership, academic merit, artistic achievement, or athletic endeavors. Combined with need-based financial aid, it can cover up to full tuition.

“Our daughters are thriving. As parents, we feel we've found an extension of our home: a connected environment where we work, learn, and share as a tight community. We are so thrilled to have found a place of academic, social, and spiritual growth.”
