Pregnancy through Toddler

‘Roots & Shoots’ parent-child circles are for children aged birth to 18 months old, attending once a week with an adult caregiver. Our circles provide a peaceful and connecting experience for both the parent and the child. There are weekly discussions of parenting topics designed to support and inspire your life at home and to deepen your understanding of child development.  Parents find a community of sharing and mutual support. In the toddler class, each week parents are invited to work on a simple handwork project, while the children play with each other in our nurturing environment. Included in the class are a shared snack, lap games, songs and puppet plays.

We offer indoor and outdoor classes. Our outdoor space is adjacent to our school building, designed for safe play in all weather for toddlers 15m – 2.5 yrs. Our indoors classes are for infants and moving babies 0m-15m.

Please Note: ECE Programs are not eligible for tuition assistance, with the exception of the 5-Day Kindergarten program.

OLDER BABY CLASS (Mondays) program information

  • Mondays 3 – 4:30 pm
    • One adult to accompany child
  • Ages 3 – 11 months (by June 1, 2024) (birthdates between 6/1/2023 and 3/1/2024)

    • Outdoor Class (one adult to accompany child)
  • Ages 1 year – 1 year 6 months (by June 1, 2024) birthdates between 1/1/2023 and 5/31/2023

  • $610 (13 classes)

Spring 2025 dates and costs

  • Jan 6 – Jun 9  (no class Jan 20 Feb 17, Apr 7, 14,21, May 26)
