High School Math Teacher (Part-time)
Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm has an immediate opening in our high school for a part-time math teacher. We are seeking an imaginative teacher who teaches math holistically: relating skills and principles to the larger whole and tying them back to applications in life around us. We strive to use math as a tool to develop the individual’s reasoning and creativity. Teaching math at Summerfield requires the curiosity and creativity to work with students of varying abilities simultaneously. We are looking for someone to teach Algebra 2 and/or Geometry, 1-3 classes per day, 4-5 days per week, depending on whether one or both math tracks are taught.
